Back in January, nearly ever person we know was weeping about the LSU loss to Bama for the BCS Championship. Everyone except for my husband. Being from Louisiana, people expect you to be an LSU fan no matter what and my husband and I are not…
College sports, especially in the south are crazy popular so team apparel is everywhere. Well not being a T Shirt person, I have a hard time finding team apparel that I really like. I really like it when stores offer a women’s line that is fitted and cut to fit women specifically rather than trying to make a smaller men’s shirt cute with your skinny jeans.
I’ll leave the actual sports talk to my husband, for now I want to talk fashion…of course. First the colors and mascot come into play. I love purple but I don’t know many people that look good in gaudy purple and gold. Wearing Alabama apparel in crimson is so easy to pair with white, black and denim. The elephant mascot too is just a great addition, not only is it adorable and different it means good luck and allows you to incorporate gray into your overall Bama gameday look.
