The Fab 5 Join the Magnificent 7

I will always remember where I was when I watched the tragedy of teeny tiny 14 year old (yes there was no 16 year old rule then) Dominuqe Moceanu sit down on both of her vaults in the last rotation of the 1996 Olympic team final. It was devastating to know that she had pretty much solidified the fact that the US would not win the gold.
Kerri Strug up next hurts her ankle on the first vault and then epically lands her second vault on one leg, arms in the air in victory before crumbling to the mat in pain. I will ALWAYS remember that moment, it is definitely one of the most epic sports triumphs I have ever watched.
Those 7 girls are some of the most memorable gymnasts in US history…until now. The Fab 5 (aka the 2012 US women’s team) has 
joined the Mag 7 in history as the gold medal women’s team. Gabby Douglas, Jordyn Weiber, Aly Raisman, Kyla Ross & McKayla Maroney accomplished something that I will be able to say “I remember where I was when I saw the Fab 5 win gold.”
